I'm Emily, and I started Little Edge just before Christmas 2024. I have a daughter who’s just turned two, and between my partner’s full-time job and my part-time job at the time, childcare was becoming increasingly difficult.

We had always talked about doing something like Little Edge, but we never had enough time or confidence to go through with it. So, just before Christmas, while trying to figure out a solid plan for childcare, I bit the bullet and went for it!

Little Edge has given me the creative freedom to make something really amazing for people—but most importantly, it’s given me the opportunity to be there for my daughter full-time and to be truly present for all of those amazing milestones (the terrible twos have definitely hit our house!).

This small business isn’t just about me—it’s about helping me continue to be there for my little girl, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this opportunity. I know most mummas don’t have that luxury and have to keep working, so I don’t take it for granted.
